About Felixstowe Pier
Completed in 1905, this was once one of the longest piers in the country with its own electric tramway running to the end. It was the stopping point for the ‘Belle’ paddle steamers which operated between London and Great Yarmouth.
The majority of Felixstowe Pier was purposely demolished after the Second World War.

The Boardwalk Café Bar offers both inside and alfresco dining – open every day for breakfast, coffee and cakes; main menu served rest of day. Wine, real ale and cocktails. Two further outlets serve fish and chips (The Pier Fish Company) and ice cream (Lorenzo’s).
