About Manning’s Amusements
The most southerly attraction along Sea Road is Manning’s Amusements, perhaps the most famous in Felixstowe.
Originally opened by W.E. Butlin (later Sir Billy Butlin of holiday camp fame) in 1932, and run by the Manning family since 1946, Manning’s Amusements has been entertaining holidaymakers and day-trippers alike for almost 80 years!
A wooden roller coaster was once a prominent landmark (1933-1976), and past attractions have included a haunted house, a roller skating rink and even a menagerie with an island for monkeys!
Today Manning’s has something for everyone including indoor magical golf, ten pin bowling and a family amusement arcade. There is also the renowned Sunday market and the new Beach Street.
