About The Little Wine Bar

In only 2 years this little project has not only grown in stature but new and loyal followers who enjoy the exceptional hospitality of proprietor, Deborah McGlynn-Hale and ‘Silent Partner’ Stuart Hale. The commitment to finding interesting wines, which they source entirely themselves and are 98% vegan, as well as local beers from an allEast Anglian lineup of Three Blind Mice, Ampersand and Burnt Mill Breweries, is echoed in their ethical choices. The sustainability priority is evident with all their endeavours: as well as the wine and beer, notice plastic-free packaging (as far as is possible) throughout, locally sourced charcuterie and cheeses (the sharing board is well worth indulging in) and even ‘green’ cola. The cool green décor sets the scene for cakes and coffee in the daytime and a more bar-based offering in the evening. It’s a welcoming space that is set to win over even more followers now it’s open for business in the busy town centre. “We just want people to come and have a good time,” says Deborah. Open 11-11 Wed-Saturdays
