Enjoy an hour round trip, taking in the sights of the huge container port, largest ships in the world and the beautiful Stour and Orwell Estuaries. Keep your eyes peeled for porpoise gliding through the harbour. It is also the easiest way to travel from Felixstowe to Harwich or Shotley.

A hit with the kids, Harwich harbour Ferry has great reviews. If you would rather hop off at either departure point, there is loads to do. With activities and attractions on both sides of the crossing, you can make a day of it. Visit towns and beaches, explore local sites, or enjoy a leisurely walk or cycle ride. 
 

There are facilities at each of the departure points. Just five minutes from Felixstowe town, you can board at Landguard Beach.

The ferry is part of Route 51 for cyclists and offers access to footpaths and cycle tracks along the Rivers Stour and Orwell.

Boat rides depart from either Felixstowe Landguard beach, Shotley Marina or Harwich Pier.
