A weekend to celebrate Felixstowe town and seaside with street entertainment and barbecue in town on Saturday 17th September from 12 midday – 5pm and by The Pier on Sunday 18th September from 12 midday – 5pm with a skyline spectacular in the afternoon (Sunday only)

 

Both days see Felixstowe’s Fresh Gold Radio broadcasting live, appearance from your favourite local singers, bands and wandering street entertainers. Hopefully the sun will be shining for the steel drum band, and there’s an ‘Historic Felixstowe’ Photo Exhibition plus a free photobooth with souveneer photos for you to take home.

 

Saturday 17th September

…focuses on the Town Centre and sees the famous Felixstowe Lions Barbecue catering at The Triangle, also sizzling will be Pantasy Steel Drum band in Hamilton Road. Photo Exhibition at @inc in Hamilton Road (next to Savers) snap up a souvenir at our free Visit Felixstowe photo booth on The Triangle, or have a boogie with your barbecue buns to live perfomances from Baz & J.K; Bits n’ Pieces, Gina Christiino, Adam Thomas (subject to alteration)

Sunday 18th September

…the spotlight shines on The Pier Plaza and seafront with Bombay Nite’s street food stall serving up small eats and smiles with every samosa. The Pantasy Steel Drums will be hitting just the right note on the prom outside The Cork/129/The Grand/Steak & Lobster/The Alex. Free Visit Felixstowe photobooth on the Plaza, Historic Photo Exhibiiton inside the Leisure Centre and live music from FGR, Rachel Foskett, Ruby Ambrose, Majestic Voices, Sarah Louise/Alicia Loxley and MJ Soul with the fabulous Fresh Gold Radio keeping you in tune with what’s going on.

Is that enough to keep you entertained? Well, how about a dedicated air display from internationally acclaimed display aerobatic pilot, Mark Jeffries? We have turned cartwheels to get all the risk assesments and permissions to fly between The Spa Pavilion and Beach Street on Sunday only. Once at 2.45pm, then back for and encore at 5pm. If you saw Mark’s stunning airmanship earlier this summer, you know you’re in for a treat. If you missed it, well, grab a bite to eat and a drink (there are at least 20 watering holes along the flight path) and ‘don’t forget to look up!’
